Quarter Horse Photographer in North Florida

Sara & Nelly

Nelly made me so happy to be a Quarter Horse photographer in North Florida! I have photographed Sara several times, but this is the first time with her new horse, Nelly. She is a grey Quarter Horse mare and Sara has bought her to do dressage with. I think they are the perfect match for one another. Not only are they both gorgeous, but their personalities compliment each other well. Nelly is Sara’s first horse, so she is still learning all of the ropes. However, Nelly is gentle enough to be a great first horse for Sara, but spicy enough to test her and make her a better equestrian. That is one thing that I love about horses. There is always something new to learn, and something that we can do better as equestrians. It is a never-ending task to become a good equestrian; there is no finish line!

Sara is incredibly stylish which means she is a blast to photograph. She has an Instagram page (@saddlesnsass) where she shares her love of horses, working out, and fashion. I really love the outfits she chose for this session. The burnt orange dress is a new favorite of mine, I even decided to hang one of these portraits in my office on a metal print! If you need an encouraging Instagram account to follow, Sara is your girl. Her page is all real, all the time, and she holds nothing back. She shares her journey into horse ownership… including the good, bad, and the ugly! It is hard to find an equestrian as genuine as Sara, but trust me when I say you will not regret giving her a follow. Plus, you get to see these gorgeous photos on her feed and other photos we will take in the future!
