Several weeks ago I pretended to be a south Florida horse photographer on a whim. I have to admit I’m a little jealous of the Wellington photographers because the scenery in that area of Florida is just stunning. Beautiful barns surround you literally everywhere, not to mention horses at every corner. I traveled to south Florida for a concert and last second planned a photo session with a friend from college. Thank you, University of Florida, for giving me friends all over the state! I had a great time with Lauren and Roxie… and their donkey who followed me around the entire session. Roxie is a gorgeous Quarter Horse who Lauren has been working with for quite some time. Lauren claims she doesn’t jump, but after our session Roxie jumped a tree during turn out! I think she must have been feeling herself from our session. Thank you, Lauren and Roxie, for modeling for me last minute! I can’t wait for my next trip down to south Florida.
