Molli and Jacob

Meet Molli and Jacob, you will be seeing more of them next year for their spring wedding! Florida engagement photos are fun because you never really know what’s going to happen. You might have a sunny, beautiful Florida day, or you might have clouds that stick around until dusk. Or in our case, you might forget about a hurricane and show up to a damaged (and closed) location. Our original plans fell through when we pulled up, both of us forgot about the damage from the hurricane so it never crossed our minds that our location might not work out. Frantically, I searched google maps and found a boat ramp not too far from us on the same lake, Lake Talquin. Thank you, google maps, for pulling through for me more than once during my photography journey. This boat ramp ended up being quite beautiful. We had beautiful weather all afternoon, and several places to photograph their Florida engagement photos at.

I’ve known Molli and Jacob since high school, they are actually high school sweethearts! I joked that “it’s about time”, but Molli and Jacob both agreed that they’ve enjoyed this time together and are glad that they have taken their relationship year by year. I’m not sure how long they’ve been together at this point, but I’m pretty sure it’s 4+ years, talk about GOALS! I can’t wait for their wedding, mostly because Molli is a stunner and Jacob could NOT take his eyes off of her the entire session. He smiled at her like he had never seen another girl before. Can you imagine what he’s going to do when she’s in her wedding gown?!

I’m so lucky that I get to photograph amazing couples like Molli and Jacob, and couples that I have a past relationship with. Their spring wedding at Quail Branch in Lake Park, Florida is going to be beautiful and a party on top of that. We’re going to have a blast, everything is going to be way too pretty, there’s going to be a ton of laughter, and more than likely some tears shed. Sounds like my kind of wedding!
