Beth Cannon with Cannon Equine Services is a good friend of mine. Her and I talk a lot about horse braids and photography in Florida, so we decided to practice a little with her personal gelding, Diesel. I personally include braiding with all of my equine sessions by Beth and she needed some updated photos for her own business, so why not spend the afternoon together? We did some experimenting, finding angles that did and didn’t work for some more artistic shots of her hunter/jumper braids. Unfortunately, time cut us a little bit short and we ended up having to rush the session quite a bit. I’m still happy with how some of the photos turned out. Hopefully we will get to practice again in the near future! I do love taking more artistic photos of horses since that’s actually how I first started getting into photography. If you need hunter, jumper, or dressage braids, Beth is your girl! She pays attention to detail and is very meticulous about her braiding jobs.
